As someone who's hobby is jewelry making I enjoy seeing what other people make. I like to find ideas and see what else is out there in the jewelery-making world. Sometimes I am awed by what I find and other times I am truly confused. Such was the case when I stumbles upon Sarah Hood's site.
Jewelry artist
Sarah Hood has several lines of interesting and unique jewelry. Some are quite lovely and some are more ... odd. The strangest by far has to be her
train set landscapes line.
While I definitely understand a appreciate the imagination required to create your own line of jewelry I don't quite understand this particular collection. I honestly can't imagine wearing a mini-bush on my hand or neck and enjoying it. But to each his or her own.
Ms. Hood has several lines that I think are lovely but I just don't get the landscapes. Hopefully there are people out there that understand and want Ms. Hood's pieces because despite the oddity of some of her work I think she has an incredible creative ability and amazing artistic talent. One of her lines that I particularly enjoyed was
Padme.
