Our good friends over at
TV Squad just wrote
a great post that might be of interest to many of our readers out there in
DIY-land. Martha Stewart has just announced that she will be debuting a new "best of" compilation show called
Martha Stewart Crafts for the DIY Network beginning on Thanksgiving Day. They've already scheduled 39 episodes, each one focusing on a different theme, and will use clips from
Martha Stewart Living to demonstrate various projects.
The new half-hour DIY Network series, entitled Martha Stewart Crafts, is a "best of" compilation featuring how-to segments in the areas of scrapbooking, hand-made gifts, paper cards, decoupage, glittering, framing, rubber-stamping and more. [via

While I may not be the ideal demographic for this show -- I'm not big into
scrapbooking or glittering, and I don't have cable -- I'm sure plenty of our readers will enjoy watching and learning about trendy Martha-endorsed DIY projects. I, on the other hand, will sit on the sideline, and patiently wait for Martha to feature a project about Dr. Pepper-dispensing, bratwurst-cooking robots that can actually challenge me at Dr. Mario. That would be a cool show indeed!
