TiVo is a great invention, that lets you record TV shows for later viewing. TiVo Desktop is a piece of software that lets you transfer shows to your PC for watching and storage, but if you have Windows Vista, you might be plumb out of luck there. TiVo's application will not run on Windows Vista yet, so hopefully you don't have to deal with that if you want to watch TV on your PC.
