Homemade instruments are always a hit in my house. We all enjoy creating them and adding a new instrument in our collection. We started with a
homemade harmonica, then added in some maracas and a guitar. Gary showed us
how to build an xylophone out of almost anything, and now it's time to add yet another crafty musical creation: The didgeridoo. This project is a bit more complicated than the others, but the results are well worth the time. Here's what you'll need:
- Wine bottle
- Dust mask
- Spray lubricant
- Heating gun
- Round wood handle
- Bees wax for the mouth piece
- PVC Pipe - 3 feet long, 2 inch wide
Eco studios has the full instructions and will tell you how to combine all these recycling yard materials into a timeless instrument. This didgeridoo will take your homemade instrument into a whole new class. Have fun!
