The craftiest thing I have done with a can of spray paint is I made one of those hidden compartments out of one.
ReplyI repainted an old PC case to give it a little life...

I made my own label for one...
Replythat lamp is schweeet!
The craftiest thing that I have ever done with a can of spraypaint was also the most lifechanging. I made a projector using just 5 items: 2 cardboard boxes,1 fresnel lens, duct tape and...(drumroll) 1 can of flat black spraypaint.
ReplyI had so much fun with it that I bought a "real" projector and quit my day job.
great looking lamp! i work with spray paint a lot, but i haven't done anything particularly interesting. i used to do a lot of stencil artwork for mix tapes back in the day using a bunch of recycled materials to spray on (grocery store paper bags, newspaper, etc).
ReplyWow, I've never done anything with a can of spray paint at all. But if I were to do something crazy with one I'd paint my car with it in all kinds of crazy colors. I can't because I share it and yeah... haha
ReplyI've used the contents of spray paint cans for sooo many projects! One of my favorites has to be creating a Dot Matrix (Ala "Space Balls") costume using quite a few cans of 'old gold' spray paint. I used body paint on myself, but the mask, wig, skates, and even my dress got a number of coats to make them just perfect.
ReplyAnd for the record, that costume won me not only the best Re-creation award, but Best of Show, as well!
