Kristine Solomon found her niche in DIY as an editor at Barnes & Noble.com, where she helped launch the company's line of how-to guides, and gardening and food blogs. Previously, she was an editor at Home magazine, where she once produced a photo shoot resulting in a simulated skyline of lavatory faucets. She’s always looking for ways to improve her Brooklyn apartment. Her next project? Installing new laminate countertops.
