Snap crackle pop - imaging the screen

Fresh bulbs go in the lamp housing, then you close the lid and place the lamp housing on top of the stage glass. Arrows on each part should line up, but they're difficult to see in this photo. After this, you press down on the handle for a few seconds. There will be a dull pop and a bright flash, and then a few seconds of crackling.
