Gently push the unstuck tool squarely into the hole and you should be able to feel some resistance when you do. Be careful not to monkey-wrench it and push too hard, you can damage the internal components and trash your drive if you do. Keep pushing a little further and the front edge of the drive should pop out slightly, even if your computer is on, or the CD is still spinning.
