Your Ghost Host isn't looking too good. Look closely around his neck and head, and you'll see the "ghost" of the earlier portraits. That's because it's still there, as a transparent overlay. Also notice that this photo was clearly taken in a darker room than its predecessor: that's part of how this illusion is accomplished. You can open this photo and the previous one in two different tabs and switch between them to get an idea of the effect. I've cropped and resized them to be as similar as possible, though you'll see that they're actually photos of two different versions of the portrait: look at the hand size and placement. http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctorow/368654649/
