Do not use your tub or shower for a minimum of 24 hours prior to beginning a repair project. Right before starting, wipe the surface thoroughly with a towel to double-check for moisture and to get rid of any dust or grit. Finally, you can use a hair dryer to ensure there is no remaining moisture lurking inside the holes.
