Jul 12th 2011 7:52PM The issue on Nahla eating pizza on "non-cheat days" is in a different article. Halle got all she wanted, baby Nahla, out of her relationship with Aubry. Halle is used to getting her way, so now she's furious because she is over Aubry, and wants him to disappear. She did not count on him loving his daughter and not going away after he was told to! So, for no good reason, Halle is trying to make crazy accusations and strip Nahla's Dad of his parental rights. Halle probably planned an "emergency" custody hearing when Aubrey was out of the country, so he couldn't be at Court. I'm sure his attorney was there for him though. Now I wonder if Halle's Dad really "abandoned" her, or if Halle's Mom pulled this stunt on her Dad? I really used to like Halle, but after all this nonsense . . . I think she's got a screw loose. Halle's the one that's harming Nahla. I hope the Judge sees thru her scheme and Orders her to back off.
Jun 8th 2011 3:46PM Tori, I hear you. I was born with a "horrible" first name, and it is also my beloved Grandmother's name, too, which makes it hard to criticize. I vividly remember in school being horrified, cringing and waiting for my name to be called on the first day every year, and then everyone turning around to see who had the weird name. It was REALLY upsetting. Life is hard enough without making your kid feel "weird" because of their name. Parents should think about things like that before naming their kid. Besides that, I'm glad their baby's well, and maybe they'll call her Lark?
Jun 8th 2011 3:19PM After Cheryl's first "firing", Derek Hough allegedly broke up with her due to several personal issues -- and she's supposedly getting friendly again with her ex again. If she got this X Factor job in the US, how would she have effectively done a good job for X Factor in the US, and keep an eye on her ex in England at the same time? Her ex does have a history of needing to be "kept an eye on". It would probably have driven her nuts, maybe leading to her having to quit and return to England. What do I know? It's just the more I hear about Cheryl, it seems Nicole's the better person for the job.
Oct 5th 2010 3:50AM I wish she'd lived longer, too, to know how much of an impact on music she's made, to maybe have conquered some of her demons and been able to reap the benefits of her success in peace. I still remember exactly where I was the first time I ever heard the entire "Kosmic Blues" album. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It's still one of my all-time favorites.
May 29th 2010 7:00PM Julianne wouldn't be knocking anybody off if she returned. She just took a break. None of the pros -male or female - have been there every season, except Edyta Sliwinska. This time Karina Smirnoff, Kym Johnson, Lacey Schwimmer, to name a few, weren't there. People would rather see Julianne anyway, than some unknown pro dancer. JMO.
Apr 17th 2010 10:20AM Whoa! I thought she said her newly decorated house reminded her of a "big hug". If this bedroom is what getting hugged looks like, I don't want one.
Oct 20th 2009 5:30PM You can tell from the way the dad quickly called for help (from a great fire department) and got help to save their dog, and the way the little girl reacted joyously when they saved the dog, that this dog, nor her pups, will ever end up in the shelter, pound, etc. They probably had pups because they wanted the offspring of that particular Mother dog, who they obviously love. It's OK to have puppies if you're accountable and you're going to give them a "fur-ever home", which is what they are doing.
Sep 29th 2009 1:46PM Wow, Hugh, that gave me goose-bumps! Yes, RIP, Lucy and John (and George, of course).
Sep 17th 2009 8:14AM Ronniestew 9-17-2009 @ 7:31AM and Mary 9-17-2009 @ 7:58AM --You said that better than I could have! Thank you both!
Sep 11th 2009 1:00PM Deejay, I completely agree with you. Can't anyone else see that this is not about the bacon? This kid is trying to salvage and defend his family from a very uncomfortable situation. This woman, as you said "swooped" in, and is basically saying, by her actions, that this family (and his Mom) are disgusting, with disgusting eating habits. He's hurt and embarrassed by what she's doing, and he's taking it upon himself to save face, while the Dad stands there like a dum-dum. If the woman had said, "OK, while I'm here, I'd like to try things a little differently", and described a new eating plan before attacking the fridge, I'm sure they would have said "OK". Her approach was hurtful. I don't think he was rude for reacting like that. I think he was courageous for speaking up.
