May 24th 2010 1:41PM I have run into these situations in older areas where streets have been vertically realigned for some reason or another. Most cities won't allow a slope gradient over 20% and homeowners get creative instead of spending a lot of cash on lowering slabs and deepening footings. Of course it renders the garage useless for anything but storage, office, or game room.

Mar 3rd 2010 4:53PM If Obama insists on forcing the vote through the reconciliation process, we will have a Republican President, senate, and house, after the next general election. How come nobody listens to the people?
Dec 10th 2009 10:04AM I am a Republican small business owner. When my company is doing well, we purchase trucks, hire more staff, purchase more equipment, and everybody benefits. Since Obama took office, taxes have increased, our insurance rates
increased by 25% across the board, and clients wait 90 days to pay bills instead of net 30, and we let people go because we can't meet payroll. Everyone is scared to expand, because the government is only going to increase taxes, health insurance costs, and increase government control over the small business owners who are the backbone of this economy.

Mar 5th 2008 9:11AM IF SENATOR CLINTON IS ELECTED IT WILL BE TIME TO BUILD THE BOMB SHELTER AND HIDE. GOD HELP US ALL. MAYBE IT IS TIME TO MOVE TO CANADA.
Jun 12th 2007 9:55AM Being a professional land surveyor, I have had more opportunity than most to crawl through poison oak and ivy. Fels-naptha soap was a time honored remedy. White gas breaks down the oils as well. No smoking while using this remedy. There are several over-the-counter solutions like Technu, Anti-oak, and things of that nature. I have found that throwing some portland cement (dry, no rocks) pulls the oil out as well. Drys out skin however. Don't Scratch.
