Aug 16th 2010 6:48AM @rsmith4321 I'd never even bother with something advertised on late night TV. I haven't heard anything good about Majic Jack...even the name sounds silly.
We use Skype video to talk with my son in Korea and it's almost like he's in the room with us. PC on his end, Linux on mine. When a better cross platform solution becomes available, I'll evaluate it. Skype also has Skype Out, which is working great for him, forwarding his US phone number to Korea.

Jun 8th 2010 8:55AM @n8equalsd In my experience, grabbing an antenna tends to reduce the signal strength, because the human body represents an impedance to ground. RF energy that's coupled into the human body doesn't radiate.
We'll see how well they did, but I remain skeptical.
Jun 4th 2010 10:21AM Is that a beer in the cup holder behind him?
Just like being home in his living room, I guess...
May 27th 2010 8:35AM @jpxdude what happens if you were to crash this thing?
It's made of the same kind of rubber they use in super balls. It's so light, it just bounces off whatever it hits :-)
May 25th 2010 1:09PM It's going because it's outlived its usefulness: who cares about saving a couple of cents on a $50 fill-up?
