Jul 24th 2008 7:30PM I believe that you could fix the feet so that the door doesn't slam shut. In fact, I finally gave in and bought a new fridge with my stimulus check, and now I have the same problem. Raising the feet helped a bit, so I would say go for it, Dianna!
Jul 22nd 2008 2:31PM I would be lost without Flylady. The site has ideas that leave you shaking your head saying "Why didn't I think of that?"
Jul 21st 2008 2:15PM Great post, Maggie! I would so love to camp out with my daughter, but since we are very rural, we have bear, coyotes and wolves. A neighbor one mile down the road had his lame cow attacked and the butt eaten out of the poor thing, while it was still alive, by wolves. I'd have to fence our tent! : )
Jul 15th 2008 11:38AM Urine has always worked for us. Then of course, I have a big dog that thinks bunnies taste delicious!
Jul 1st 2008 1:32PM Diet sodas contain that fake stuff, asperatane (SP) and are, in my humble opinion, just nasty. My advice is to switch to water or juice, you will really feel better, have more energy, and if it is the caffeine you need, like me, then switch to coffee. I have switched to 1/2 caff coffee and love it, chased of course with plenty of water.
Jun 3rd 2008 3:31PM My dog was shot last year, so he had to wear the gigantic e-collar too. He kept getting stuck on everything, cause he is a big dog. I wrapped his pill in some cheese, and he swallowed it down. He happens to be a gassy pig, so when he burped, I knew the pill was down.
Jun 3rd 2008 3:22PM What an excellent idea. I like it much better than what I do. Usually my spouse is not around to help, so I just turn my picnic table either on it's side with the table legs facing outward, or just flip it over. Your's is so much handier, especially since I know I have some wheels around somewhere. Thanks Billy!
Jun 3rd 2008 11:02AM Great idea, Peter. Thank you for sharing. The visual is perfect. I am sure it looks just beautiful in your home.
Jun 2nd 2008 10:59AM Good luck with that Peter. I think I will always despise doing dishes, at least until my youngster gets old enough to do them and I can pawn the job off on her! ; )
The scrubbies should make life easier tho, and speaking of that, I have to go tackle my sinkful of dishes, uggh.
Jun 1st 2008 1:10PM I recommend straight mineral oil. You do not have to dilute the oil. Put just a dab on a cotton ball, remove your makeup and then wash your face per usual. I also recommend using petroleum jelly, if you would rather stay away from the oil. Just dab the petroleum jelly on your makeup and remove with a warm wet washcloth.
