Feb 17th 2012 10:51PM I have more problems with the head of Citi owning it than selling it to a Russian.
How many people lost their savings and homes while he was spending stimulus money ?
Sep 30th 2010 2:12AM Wasn't there a story about a BP exec giving him housing while in DC ?
He didn't know in June that he wanted to be the next mayor of Chicago ?
Jul 7th 2010 1:51AM I think the Bachelor and Bachelorette have lost creditability and the producers need to go back to the drawing board.
Some of the contestants are weird. Who screens these people ?
After Jillian in the hot tub, it was like prime time porn.
Who wants to marry somebody that is testing several people in bedroom in one week ? Some nice people seem to get hurt while the Jake's and Vienna's get the limelight.
They will lose a lot of viewers after this and the new show has disaster written all over it.
Jun 21st 2010 1:31AM What started off as an interesting show has turned into the Playboy Mansion and not fit for teens to watch since Jillian in the hot tub. With some of the loonies, how can they be screening any of them ? Is is all about ratings now ?
Jun 21st 2010 1:16AM The writer has no clue what many Americans go through because they don't have or can't afford health insurance.
Not everybody has a job with benefits, especially the self employed or recently disabled. If she were an illegal unwed mother she would have Medicaid and gotten care.
Thank goodness she didn't need dental care because there is no help even in clinics.
May 5th 2010 2:01AM My refrigerator failed so I bought a new one at Lowes. Due to a loss of income, I got the least expensive one possible. I didn't buy the warranty because it would have cost one third of the price of the new refrigerator. It must have been sitting in a warehouse for months while the seal puffed out and was no good. I have frost in the freezer because of that seal. They were going to order me a new seal last Oct. Still waiting.I would never buy from Lowes again.
May 5th 2010 1:14AM Hold it a minute.
People didn't get into homes all by themselves. Realtors and lenders-licensed professionals, approved those homebuyers for loans. Why aren't they getting grief ? People's lives change in the blink of an eye because of job loss, disability, illness of the breadwinner or a family member or death of a spouse, they don't have much choice. Lenders are at fault too for jerking homeowners around for a year while they lose more paper than a public toilet. Why not lower interest rates to 2% in a modification and be done ? No, they would rather beg for more bailout money while their CEO's get million dollar bonuses.
And Mikey..you live at home with your parents don't you ? Grow up.
Apr 19th 2010 1:29AM So what will happen when she goes into the adult world to work and nobody cares if she isn't happy ? Another tantrum ?
Schools should be about education, not social issues.
Mar 26th 2010 3:28PM Sorry, I left out a word. Their houses lost too much value to sell.
Mar 26th 2010 3:27PM Not everybody is the deadbeat you think they are. Your lack of empathy is overwhelming. People who were financially stable at one time with traditional mortgages had job loss, death of a family member, illness and divorce. Their houses so too much value to sell.
One mortgage company simply changed the playing field. You got a reduced payment but an additional 40 years added on. Some of these lenders have no idea what they are doing and stalling to stay employed. They have lost more paper than a flusing toilet.
