Oct 14th 2012 2:40PM Nope not a GHobbit House, Snow White Drarves maybe. The water wheel looks cheesy but I love the rest of it. To bad we didn't get pics of the inside. I would live in it. But if it was mine I would do away with the silly water wheel.
Oct 14th 2012 2:35PM I agee leave the man alone with his own property. This is why I will NEVER own a home in a HOA. They tell you what you can and cannot do to your own property. Not sure I would want a Historical Building either. Although I am all for restoring them and not just blowing them up. But you have to follow all rules in restoration colors, brick type and so forth.
Oct 13th 2012 11:45AM Terri lmaopimp (pimp pissen in my pants) for sure couldn't sit on the furniture now!!!!
Oct 13th 2012 11:42AM I agree 100% not only that I find it mostly ugly not my taste at all. If I ad the money to buy it it would cost me double to make it livable.
Sep 27th 2012 3:17PM I think it is a great idea. However I do think it should have been done in a larger room. No one is going to fall into the dern thing there is a cover over it, to the person that said someone might walk into it. To bad he took out the fireplace a TV can go anywhere but not a built in fireplace. But to be honest I think the main problem I would have is my whole house smelling like a hot tub. Years ago I worked for a young Dentist that had a hot tub in the Reception Room. It was awful. Patient actually came in and used it. Now there are somethings in Dental offices that down right stink. But I never got that chlorine smell out of my nose for the whole time I worked there.
Jul 7th 2011 12:18PM Let's get rid of the term baby bump it sounds like a pimple to me. gross.
Jul 7th 2011 12:13PM Living together and not being married in this day and age is just fine. I am totally against being married after being amrried adn working in family law. However, I do not like for couples to have children out of marriage due to the fact that it makes the child a bastard. To me tht is a bad thing. And I feel sorry for the child. That is why when your getting a divorce the judge won't grant it if the wife is pregnant.
Jul 4th 2011 8:25PM Here are two things that I have used for years. One was sort of touched on with grits. I wouldn't use thid in my house but here in Texas we get fireants. OUCH! Anyway grits put on the mounds seems to work to get rid of them once they take some down to the Queen. Without a Queen poof gone. I used this in my yard and in pastures where I had horses grazing. For sugar ants and roaches and the like in my house I used the fruit of the Bois D'Arc tree, known to me as horse apples. My house is on peer and beam so I just throw them up under the house and walk away. No ants no roaches. Seems to work very well. ALthough I don't have a tree there is one down the street and it drops its fruit onto the sreet so I just stop and pick them up when I see one.
Jun 17th 2011 10:02AM This is a real post but I want people to know that I am a mid 50's white female before I say what I want to say. Oprah thinks way to much of herself. She always has and always will. I used to love watching her shows then she got to big for her own britches. And that's big. Leave OJ alone. I did not then nor do I now think he did anything to his wife or her druggy friend. HE might have a temper he might have hit her which in itself would be wrong. But working in family law has taught me one thing that is very important. There are not just 2 sides to evey story there are 3. Your side my side and the truth .
Jun 4th 2011 7:34PM I disagree. I think Janet said she sees the potential in this house and questioned the awful artwork on all of the walls.
