10 Paper Towel Roll Crafts

Apr 8th 2011 3:28PM I use toilet paper rolls for storing electrical cords. I don't decorate them but I do write the length of the cord on the paper roll. Handy for when you are looking for a particular length!

Fees, fees, fees: 10 annoying charges consumers face

Jun 1st 2010 3:45PM I have another fee for you. Have you ever taken your dog or cat to the veterinanrian and been charged something called a "Biohazard Waste Mgmt" fee? I am charged an extra $4.99 every time I take my cats in, for each cat, even if we are only there for a check-up or a shot. My own doctor doesn't charge me for disposing syringes if I get an injection, so why should they? And no waste is left behind. My vets are good but they are expensive.

Get Rid of Dust Bunnies For Good: Top Rated Vacuum Cleaners

Apr 21st 2010 9:56AM I have always favored Hoover vacuum cleaners. I presently have two for my 2 floor house, and one is the Widepath. I do not understand why bagless cleaners are even made because I think it would be messy to clean out the machine. So I will stick with the bags. I also have a Dirt Devil, which I believe is made by the same company as Hoover, but I don't use it very often since I got the Widepath. I have 2 cats and I have no trouble picking up the cat hair with these machines!

McDonald's may be ready to end the beef over teen's McFest charity concerts

Feb 5th 2010 3:36PM the sensible thing for mcdonalds to do would to become a sponsor of Lauren's charity. Maybe if something good comes out of this they can regain some of their negative publicity. I don't eat at most fast food places but I hate to seea good cause ruined.

Should overweight passengers pay extra for airline tickets?

Dec 10th 2009 9:55PM Michael and Derek have the right idea. And I don't think it is fair to make the large person's problem into the other passengers' problem. Would they fit better in first class, since those seats appear to be a little larger? And could they buy a seat there if available? Since they are the ones with the weight problem, they should be the ones to pay for the solution.

What does being left-handed have to do with mental illness?

Aug 30th 2007 8:03PM I am the only lefty in my family, including parents, two siblings and three sons. Since I am in my 60's I am not worried about developing mental illness, including schizophrenia. I have some insomnia at times, but I think that is more related to age. I can't support any of these claims! Lefty Lyn
