Nov 19th 2007 4:26AM What a load of caca. The color sidekick one was pretty decent, but the CSK II and CSK III have lots of issues. I've returned multiple units of each model. I had so many warranty returns on my CSK II that T-mobile finally told me that replacement #6 was going to be the last one, valid warranty or no. Switched to the CSK III a few months ago and have had to send back two so far due to the very common charging issues (unit just quits charging). I don't think the original manufacturer was anything special.
Nov 7th 2007 6:15PM There was a lot of talk about some units malfunctioning. You need a firmware upgrade. Most sites talked about sending the units back for service to get this upgrade as opposed to it being a user installable deal. Hope this helps.
Nov 7th 2007 5:58PM Hey Steve: I have been drooling over this phone for a while. Other than the 8GB, the slightly larger screen, the lack of a microSD slot, and the color, are there any other changes between this and the standard N95 USA version? Processor? Features? Also, critically, what is the deal on the 3G data access here in the USA? Is the 8GB version Euro only, or will it hook up to AT&T's 3G network? T-Mobiles? I'm talking about the HSDPA/WCDMA functionality specifically for highest speed data.
I want to get this for mobile video to web publishing and I don't think there is another phone with a camera or video to match this one....
Oct 10th 2007 11:54AM Why "hillbilly how-to"? Especially as the author seems about a million years away from a hillbilly lifestyle or anything approaching it.
If you are going to do this kind of tongue-in-cheek article for digg exposure, maybe you should invent some sort of character for the supposed author. Dan Chilton is obviously no hillbilly. 8^)
