Mar 23rd 2013 8:32PM Our insurance charges extra for german shepherds, pit bulls, rottweilers, dobermans, and a few other breeds. It's unfair because most of the people who have vicious dogs (the ones who train their dogs for fighting, etc) don't have house insurance so they are punishing their "customers" unjustly. Some insurance companies ban you from owning certain breeds, threatening they'll drop you or not cover you from the start. It's scary that we live in a country that allows companies to dictate what you can and cannot do with your own home for fear of loss of coverage.
Jul 29th 2012 12:37AM house number one in the photos, with the do not cross tape, could have just been painted or it could have been set up. we can't even be sure any of these came from reliable realty websites for house sales and trulia is an unreliable housing website, it really is. it has erroneous facts listed for my house, so yeah, definitely not trustworthy for REAL real-estate pictures.
Jul 5th 2011 6:41PM america's most endangered places: the whole country.
Jun 23rd 2011 12:46AM almost looks like she's wearing granny panties...so there's no big fashion don't here. if that was a thong under the skirt, i'd say "what a skank". if she feels the need to wear a see through skirt, why not? i see more obscene things by going to wal-mart, i think we all do.
Jun 21st 2011 8:10PM children are gross creatures, it's a fact of nature. they should have their own separate swimming areas with a life guard and the stuff that turns the water red/dark blue when they pee in it. and it's true, chlorine doesn't kill everything. now the scary thing is...what about lake water? lake water contains brain destroying amoebas, loads of floating nastiness from people...oh the horror! i think if you want to swim, you should swim in your own backyard pool (you can get a cheapy from Intex for about $400). and put that colour additive in your pool so the little bundles of grossness that pee in the pool can be removed and kept away.
Jun 2nd 2011 12:41AM sam, it's not what men think, it's what other women think about the shoes. they frankly don't give a damn what a man thinks about their shoes.
May 31st 2011 3:15PM mice aren't humans!!!! why the bloody hell do they test on animals when they know damn well that humans are different...it's just stupid. everyone in my family is a coffee drinker and none of the women ever had trouble reproducing. just about every woman in america drinks coffee and i don't see the birth rates declining. this study is just another example of junk science performed on animals to scare humans.
May 21st 2011 3:44PM just a quick warning about putting green tea bags on your face, if you have sensitive skin it can make you break out just brutal. i tried the wet tea bag approach to better skin and the next day i had redness and zits like mad in the exact location of each tea bag. everything else though on the list seems like a good idea.
May 20th 2011 1:41AM i'm in support of this ban. if you're breastfeeding a kid over 2 then you're not really doing the kid any favours, in fact you may be doing damage. most children should be weened before age three. and really, you do not have to breast feed in public, you can pump and store it in a bottle for public feeding. i remember my trip to Cedar Point in 2007 and i had the unpleasant experience of a woman whipping out her boob and feeding her kid while sitting uncomfortably close to me (about a foot away on the same bench). it makes those in the vicinity very uncomfortable. i know it's a natural process, but unlike our animal and neanderthal predecessors, we do not have body hair to cover up anything plus we claim to be higher evolved, let's act it.
Apr 25th 2011 2:38AM "(despite the reality that its men are more likely to be victims of serious physical assault, including homicide)" larry, since when are men the majority of victims in sexual assault, serial killings, and domestic violence? maybe if men were better at socializing with each other and controlled their emotions better, violent crime amongst them wouldn't be such a problem. and women have been granted special options because for a good 4000-5000 years (right into the 1970's) they were treated as nothing more than baby makers and were considered disposable while men ruled them and everything else around them. if you want better options for men, move to Yemen, women are still considered disposable property there and men are still rewarded for barbarism. as for boys not finishing school...gee, i wonder why, could it possibly be because they lack a good male influence in their life? could it be because males have grown lazy over the past century? do not blame women or special programs for women for the problems and politics created by and continued by men.
