No, it is NOT radioactivity.
It is electromagnetic (EM) radiation, which shares an unfortunate naming convention with ionizing (nuclear) radiation.
EM radiation occasionally causes the listed problems, the same way too much sunlight does - heating too much.

Dec 26th 2007 10:32PM All I've got is a $20 Casio, taking the place of the $90 Timex USB DATALINK (Ohh, yeah, geek heaven!) The only way I can replace the Casio with something cheaper is free!
Besides, if I win, I'll get my EE students to hack the display into something even more better cooler!
