Nov 13th 2010 4:03PM It's never going to work on your wife's G4, as it requires OS X 10.6.5 and the G4 is ancient. If you have replaced those files on her laptop, it might break printing altogether.
Aug 31st 2009 5:15AM I would never use this stuff on my skin! It's a petroleum oil.
Jan 9th 2009 7:04AM They have to do a service exchange, as they get paid by Apple for doing the swap. Apple Mice have no service-replaceable parts, so the part they were ordering was a whole new mouse. Some places do give you a new one with no packaging and pretend your faulty one was brand new dead on arrival in the box your new one came in, but that's a bit sneaky at best.
Jan 24th 2008 7:39PM You already can if you are already on 1.1.3. You downgrade to 1.1.1 using a fresh OS install and iTunes version older than 7.5 and follow the usual widely publicised jailbreak method.
Jan 17th 2008 4:21PM I had the same probs with the instructions here, but I just finally downgraded a bypass-activated and jailbreaked UK O2 1.1.2 out the box iPhone from 1.1.3 (which made it useless)- Phone not working though yet due to baseband version.
I used iTunes 7.4.2 and Leopard 10.5.0 It is basically a clean install of Leopard which has not been connected to the internet. This allowed a downgrade to 1.1.2 and then straight down to 1.1.1. Both times, iNdependance was needed to take it out of recovery (DFU?) mode, and an error 1015 appeared at the end of each downgrade.
I then followed the original dial *#309#, prefs://1F Jailbreakme.com etc.. instructions. Then octoprep. Then back up to 1.1.2 and used iNdependance to bring back the springboard.
It is of course just an iPod touch at the moment.
Hope it helps someone.
