Mar 31st 2011 12:32AM There are berries Synsepalum dulcificum, that are native to West Africa The tribesmen have been using them for centuries. The Japanese are trying to figure out a way to preserve and then market them. I've seen video of people trying them and then eating bitter foods and remarking that the food tastes sweet. This is not new! It's a good idea though.
Mar 17th 2011 5:30PM I thought it was pretty good for a bunch of kids. For you haters, I'd rather seen him making a geeky kid video, than see him doing drugs or committing crimes. Too bad more kids don't know how easy it is to entertain yourself and you friends without doing something bad. Kudos kid Mazal Tov! And hey they actually learned how to produce a video, even though the sound was out of sync. But other than that is was good!
Mar 5th 2011 10:10AM Look as far as the lunch programs in schools are concerned, that's why they hire Nutritionists. They can set the requirements for what is served to the students and all junk for should be removed. I don't have a problem with that. But, when Michelle and the government, whether it's local, state or federal start dictating to the general public what they can or cannot eat in a restaurants, (ie;salt, transfats, etc.) then they've gone to far! As for Michelle, well she really should go on a diet before she tries telling anyone what to do! But really it's none of her business! I know Libs on here are going to get thier panties all in a bunch over what I just said. My advice to them. Grow up and mind your own business!
Feb 17th 2011 2:27PM I think that the people on here that are being nasty about this and the school staff, need to chill out. This girl wasn't acting like some slut or anything like that. It's a little color! Try worrying about kids bringing guns and drugs to school. We have two teenage girls at home and the stories they tell about the drugs, alcohol and weapons in the school would scare the hell out of you. And they have police officers in the school! Anyone on the Orange County School board, needs to take a close look at Dr. Phillips High School!
Feb 14th 2011 10:41PM Leave it to Whoopi to get the facts wrong. Typical of a big Lib like her. The correst word for her would be narcisist, which is why she's such a big brainwashed supporter of Obama. Along with that blow hard Bay...whatever her name is.
Feb 12th 2011 4:37PM The difference between the McDonald's suit and this one is, McDonalds actually was neglegent by heating the coffee to a hotter tempature than is normal in a standard coffee pot, so the smell of the coffee would permeat the store. Which was supposed to make people want to buy more coffee. The coffee was extremely hot and would scald you. As for a young child handling anything hot served in any resturant, it's the parent's responsibility to make sure the child doesn't get burned!
Feb 12th 2011 11:07AM I'm inclined to agree with some of the other posters here. I think Congress is wasting our tax dollars on something trivial. If they want the drug to be illegal, pass a law saying so! Then let law enforcement handle enforcement and prosecution. Congress does not need to be involved in the investigation. As far as I'm concerned they've watched to many episodes of Law and Order where the DA gets involved in the investigation. Sorry, to inform you, but that rarely if ever happens! Anyway, if Major League Baseball wants to boot out players using Steriods, then they only need to require drug testing in the workplace and fire any player testing positive. CONGRESS DOES NOT NEED TO BE INVOLVED AND DOES NOT NEED TO BE WASTING OUR MONEY, to make themselves feel important!
Feb 9th 2011 1:06AM I agree that the author of this article is giving out dangerous information! You should not burn pine in a fireplace! Creosot builds up much faster with pine, even if it's been cured. Most people that burn would, don't have the luxury of letting would cure for a year and even if they did the pitch in pine doesn't not evaporate. Burning pine will create lots of creosot in a chimney and if your chimney has any cracks in the liner and there's a fire, your going to lose your house! Be smart and don't listen to the idiot that wrote this article! And if your going to heat your home with wood, get a a newer catalic wood stove. There are all kinds of style that are just as attractive in your home as a fireplace. They are designed to burn the smoke from the wood as it smolders in the stove and puts more BTU's that a conventional woodstove or fireplace. Do some research and ask questions of the various dealers! They are there to help you with the right information about the stoves, as well as how to safely use one!
Jan 29th 2011 1:28PM I think you have it wrong. If you lose your home to foreclosure, the bank does not take your car too! Horses are treated like personal property, unless there was something in writing that listed them as part of the property. Each horse has separate papers (bill of sale or registrations with horse pedigree associations). It would be rediculous to have them listed with the property, because the paperwork would be a nightmare every time you went to sell a horse. All that aside I can't believe he abandoned the horses. He could have at the very less sold them at reduced prices, so they would be cared for.
Jan 25th 2011 11:18PM I can't say whether or not Jet Blue is, but almost all of the US based airlines are subsidized by the Federal Government! That's because the initial layout for the cost is so high and the government gets the right to commandeer them along with the crews for national emergencies, ie time of war to transport troops. So, technically speaking they should accept all forms of cash and credit cards!
