Feb 18th 2010 1:24PM I've made these recipes and was bummed to realize Fels was not so green (turpines) because it cleaned clothes really well! I've made the same recipe using a castile bar soap, grated, and it doesn't clean as well. Maybe half and half is the answer, to lower the toxicity and still get clothes clean, but I have to admit I got sick of grating soap!
Apr 13th 2008 10:01PM Life is a risk. You decide if you want to live in a totalitarian society with laws - and sentiments here - that don't make any distinction between someone who drinks one glass of wine, a measurable level of alcohol but not enough to impair you in any serious way - and totally reckless drunks who get smashed and drive around killing people. Our laws and some comments here make no distinction at all between these two. All is not as black and white as some would like to make it.
Apr 13th 2008 8:35PM Hey, excuse me but every adult who has a drink or two and drives a car is not a "murderer". NO I don't think people should drive drunk OBVIOUSLY and risk hurting others or themselves, but this is just another example of the OVERREACTIONism and lack of common sense going on in our society today. Soon we'll likely have abolitionists and prohibition again - that worked so well back then, right? It is less and less a "free" society when the government breathes down your neck as much as they do now......pass me a mint.
