Jul 27th 2011 4:32PM Once in late 1992, when Frank Zappa was on the Howard Stern radio show, Howard and his wife Alison were expecting their third child. _ Stern asked Zappa for a suggestion for a name. _ Keep in mind that Zappa had named his four children : Moon Unit, Dweezil, Ahmet Emuukha Rodan and Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen. _ (Actually Moon Unit's full name was originally 'Moon Unit Number Nine'). _ Without a moment's hesitation Zappa said "Mordred". _ Stern who had named his first two children: Emily and Debra, declined the suggestion and went with Ashley... _ Stern may be crazy, but he's not stupid.
Jul 3rd 2011 12:06PM The AOL headline said "I can't hug, I can't shake hands", but in the interview the actual quote is "I CAN hug". _ How can we trust AOL to get anything straight if they can't even correctly quote from a simple interview?
Jun 25th 2011 4:07PM Taking her cue from Howard Stern, Ms Coulter has apparently learned the basic tenets of shock media: 1) Truth is relative. 2) The squeaky wheel gets the grease. & 3) There is no such thing as bad publicity.
Jun 13th 2011 6:53PM Anyone believing that sign to be real should be charged a 1.50 Stupid Tax, with the proceeds going to public education.
May 26th 2011 9:51PM Any parents who name their child "Storm" are simply unfit to raise any child. _ As to the gender... who gives a rat's pattootie?
Apr 15th 2011 4:07PM "...a solid back comb is the crowning foundation for most hair styles..." _ A "back comb"? _ I never knew there was such a thing. _ And here I've been letting my back hair go all wild all these years... Live and learn!
Apr 11th 2011 5:59PM "Is there such a thing as natural sunscreen?" - Um yeah Grace, it's called shade _ Duh!
Mar 30th 2011 10:53AM Actually Ben, I read elsewhere that Jake has a girlfriend, and so probably functions quite well socially. _ And gregg, I would hardly describe his exposition of 'Itegration by Parts' as "rambling". _ Just because you may not fully appreciate his work, or because you may feel intimidated by his genius is no reason to assume that his life is lacking in any way. _ That smacks of petty jealousy.
Mar 29th 2011 6:42AM OK... And these are the people in whom we entrust the security of our airports? _ Just sort of fills you with a warm fuzzy glow just knowing such geniuses are on the job... doesn't it?
Feb 9th 2011 11:19PM Yeah, right... Just like those athletes who are supposed to be "role models"... are you kidding me? _ These performers, whether in sports, movies, or television are little more than over-paid dancing monkeys who are role models to absolutely no one. _ As long as they perform I don't care if they're out in right field with a coke-spoon up their nose, or spending their entire off-season hiatus in rehab.. as long as they entertain. _ Dance monkeys dance!
