T-Mobile takes entire 3G network to 7.2Mbps

Jan 5th 2010 9:38PM @iDavey Check this out. All the light gray areas are areas with no coverage. We have it by the skin of our teeth! LOL http://www.twitpic.com/wupo7

T-Mobile takes entire 3G network to 7.2Mbps

Jan 5th 2010 2:38PM @iDavey I think you misunderstand me. I have to drive 30 miles before I can even pick up 3G. I don't have it at home -- We still only have Edge in my city. If we venture east, sometimes there's no signal at all for a stretch or, if we're lucky, we might get GPRS. Fortunately, we rarely go that way and reception is good at my typical haunts.

Jan 5th 2010 11:55AM We're still waiting for T-Mobile to even roll out 3G in our area. If I drive into Columbus, I can get a signal, but 30 miles out we just have Edge and, in some areas, not even that. Their customer service has been great through the years, just wish they offered us better coverage.

HP Vivienne Tam Edition Mini 1000 Digital Clutch now available

Dec 4th 2008 4:44PM I think it's purdy, so 'dere. ;) It's also ridiculously overpriced, though.

Toshiba's Super Charge Ion Battery gets 90% full in 10 minutes

Oct 5th 2008 2:02PM That was my first thought, too!

Pushing Daisies: Smell of Success

Nov 25th 2007 10:42PM Oh, and I love the musical numbers. "Morning Has Broken" brought me to tears, too, even as the humor of the Chinese lantern hats made me laugh. It's such a great combination, this show.

Pushing Daisies: Smell of Success

Nov 25th 2007 10:37PM This show is one of the most brilliant bits of eye candy I've ever seen. It delights my mind, brings me to tears, and makes me laugh aloud. The "Jews for Cheeses" picture the sisters viewed in the stereo viewer tickled me to pieces. What was the event where it was taken? I didn't quite catch that.

There are very few series I would watch repeatedly and therefore own on DVD; this is one of them.

How to make great iced coffee at home

Aug 19th 2007 9:09PM The coffee shop I work at does this to make a gallon of cold-press
coffee: Take 8oz whole coffee beans and grind on the coarsest setting of
the grinder. Put grounds in a 1-gallon pitcher and pour ice water over
the grounds, turning the pitcher as you go so the ground coffee gets
uniformly wet. Let this steep at room temperature for 12-16 hours.
Drain with metal filter into a clean 1-gallon container. Seal and
refrigerate for up to two days. Some roasts are better for this than
others; I like a medium roast myself.
