May 16th 2011 12:30PM You got that right. Doctor's should excercise sound judgement - and giving an 8 year old botox is beyond pathetic and nothing mnore than about the almighty dollar. I totally agree that his license should be yanked immediately.
Mar 20th 2011 10:14AM I study Shotokan Karate. My sense teaches us not to go & start a physical confontation but, because we are "initiated", we are bound to help those who cannot help themselves. Good job John. Usss!
Mar 7th 2011 7:37AM Christina's label and management is at fault here, NOT her. It is not a bump in the road for her. She didn't do it. If Sony went to the publisher and got what they thought was permission, and no doubt SHOULD have that in writing, it's not CA's doing. That is mgmt doing a very poor job of due dilligence regarding licensing and contacting the wrong publisher. In theory, an artist (or label) pays a fee to the publisher for the rights to perform a song written by someone else. If the new release makes money, so does the original writer. She's getting a bad rap here. The article should read "SONY Music sued for stolen music".
Feb 7th 2011 10:09AM Yup, you're right, The Who did suck last year but they were better than BEP's.
Feb 7th 2011 9:45AM Amen to that.
Feb 7th 2011 9:42AM Jerry was selling "tickets" for $200 for the parking lot view (minimun of 4). They knew they did not have enough seats all along. His greed is shameful.
Feb 4th 2011 11:01AM The easiest way to keep him out of the news is to NOT interview him. He knows how to build a stadium. Oh! Wait! I forgot! If a punter kicks the ball too high in that stadium, it hits the TV screens... nice job Jerry... I don't think he got the memo that this week is NOT about him or his weenie team.
Jan 20th 2011 8:09AM Spurrier (while at Florida) did put in his 2nd & 3rd team guys when way out in front but stuck with his play calling game plan. I agreed with his comment "our job is to score, your job is to stop us". Good article.
Jan 14th 2011 7:57PM I agree with part of what you said about manufacturing artists... but seriously, Kanye? He stinks as bad as any white bread artists out there. He rhymes.... there's no MUSIC to speak of. Ok, there are beats... but no music. I agree that all the lip syncher's out there should not be taken seriously. Watch the Grammy's... it's pathetic to see these "artists" perform when NONE of them, white or black, can hit the notes. All the shows with sampled vocals are a joke. Britney, Rihanna and the whole perfect body, perfect look people... Britney got busted in Australia lip synching and her manager said it's about the show, not the singing... All the big labels have changed how we listen to and enjoy music... it's about what you look like... not how you perform. Sad.
