Jun 22nd 2011 5:34PM OMG...She is in it only for the money. But why would HDNet pay somepne like her?
After the show tanks. she'll be looking for wome other moron to pay her way for awhile. For God's sake, her own parents dumped her so they wouldn't have to pay for all those kids. They will all have huge therapy bills to pay later on, and she will be hustling herself for money for that too. Poor kids. They don't get it now but they will soon enough. She is disgusting.
Jun 22nd 2011 5:27PM Hello... he DID take an innocent person along with him, his friend. Although the friend was probably wasted as well. I'm sorry they're both dead, but one look at what's left of the car should tell the story. Drunk driving kills!
And BTW, Mickey, I'm 100% behind you. It got very quiet after the BA level was announced.
Jun 7th 2011 10:28PM I wiah Katie good luck, but I don't see it working. I, for one, will not be watching her show. Do we really need another yappy show?
I don't think so. And there are two channels devoted to cooking. Do we really need another one? I think not. The networks will find themselves with their thumbd up their butts when the soaps go off the air. I hope it's slow and painful.
Katie, I used to like you on the Today show, but Meredith has it all over you. And now that she's leaving, I think that Ann Curry is a good choice to replace her. Katie, you should stick to the occasional specials for ABC, and forget about the yappy show. You're done.
ABC= Always Broadcasting Crap.
May 25th 2011 11:39PM Wonderful story!
It's always good to try new things - now go try something else - and enjoy!
May 24th 2011 4:22PM So she's marrying the father of her children! What a novel idea!I suppose there is something to be said for the fact that they're still together after two kids. Anyone want to mke a bet on how long it will last after they get married?
May 23rd 2011 11:06PM Just FYI, folks: When quoting someone for an article, they must be quoted verbatim, no matter how bad the grammar or pronunciation. von Anhalt is German, and that's probably the way he says "thing" with his accent.
Be grateful that he speaks English instead of having an interpreter around.
Get well, ZsaZsa. And if you must go, I pray that it is peaceful and painless.
May 23rd 2011 11:53AM Wow, so much anger...did she do something to you personally? However,
I think this is a bad move, just a gimmick, and unfortunately, it could kill the show. While they need to replace Jillian, replacing her with a "celebrity" trainer isn't a good idea.
I don't like Anna either, but I have no reason to hate her the way some folks here seem to. Wow. Chill, people.
May 18th 2011 3:23PM Horse hockey! I have been heavy most of my life, and I have never had a problem getting on or off an exam table in any doctor's office or in and out of the dentist's chair. Granted, I don't weigh 300 pounds, but these doctors are just plain lazy. They took an oath to "do no harm," but that doesn't mean "do no harm to women under 200 pounds only." They are in a unique position to help people get healthy but they can't be bothered. And I know for a fact that exam tables and equipment for large people are available. They don't want to spemd their money and would rather force a woman, pregnant or not, to go without treatment just because they're over weight.
If I was ever turned away by a doctor because of my weight and was told that they wanted to avoid a lawsuit, they'd be facing one anyway.
Apr 8th 2011 12:40PM First of all, folks, if you actually read the article, you would have seen that Jillian said that she is also planning to adopt from the US.
Second, Michael, Alison Sweeney has lost a good amount of weight herself and has admitted to struggling with her weight.
It sounds to me like you resent the show for pointing out your own shortcomings, which says to me that you have much larger issues of your own. Perhaps you should deal with them instead of slamming a show that has helped many people with their weight issues. It sounds like you could benefit from some counseling for your anger issues. I wish you well.
Besides, it you hate the show so much, why did you even bother to read the article????
Mar 21st 2011 4:28PM Lane Bryant isn't your mother's clothing store any more. They carry all kinds and types of clothing beginning at size 14. There are also great stores like August Max (a more upscale store) and CJ Banks, also 14 and up. You can also find larger sizes at more stores these days if you have the time to look. My mother had many of her dresses made by a dressmaker and later on shopped at Roaman's stores and catalog. Remember half-sizes, anyone?
Hang in there, girls. Fashion is finally catching up!
And for the rest of you bigots, "plus size" doesn't neccesarily mean "fat." So go crawl under your rocks and leave the girls alone.
