Jan 12th 2013 6:49AM You're exactly right. I didn't realize this was the case until I read it completely. It's probably the home of a Jewish individual who adhere's to dietary rules. If everybody took 30 minute showers the utility bill would soar and the last few might end up with cold showers. I agree about no overnight guests. In that case there just might be someone who takes up residency for free. The landlord holds all the aces and is right on!

Oct 7th 2012 12:25PM The owner of the land mamy years ago. Read the article. It should have become public property however in the early 1900's it was common practice to put a graveyard on family land. I know of a spot that has not only the family members buried there but slaves as well. Nice little iron fence to keep the cattle out and nice little markers. Some hand done on stone but everybody is sleeping there in death just as in life and it's a comforting site.

This should have never happened. That land should have become county property and exempt from taxes. Negate the deed, give the buyer the money back and let the old bones remain.
