Jun 27th 2011 9:10AM I'm not a fan of taupe but I happen to think the sparkly graphite and the frosty green are beautiful -- but the prices are RIDICULOUS! I'll wait until the cheapie drugstore brands make dupes/knockoffs of those shades. To the person who commented about leaving the green shade for the tweens, the only tween who would spend that kind of money on nail polish would probably be a millionaire's daughter
Dec 25th 2010 8:33PM Use MINI ball ornaments to make pretty earrings (attach to earring hook) or ponytail fasteners (attach to hair elastic). Also, use tinsel as a sparkly border for a mirror or a picture frame, or tie a piece of tinsel to a plain hair elastic for a fancy ponytail fastener/bracelet.
Oct 13th 2010 3:51AM OK, I realize that not everyone can afford a big fancy affair, esp with the economy being the way it is, but come on! I envision a wedding as an occasion of romantic enchantment. A wedding at a FAST-FOOD COMPANY? (To me, Mickey D's isn't really a restaurant, it's a food company) For crying in Manhattan, that sounds about as romantic as acid indigestion! But, of course, please understand this is just my opinion
Sep 23rd 2010 6:49PM Also, she's wearing MESH. That's all MESH going up to her neck.
May 12th 2010 2:18AM How about David Bowie and Iman?
Apr 13th 2010 12:56PM I got a Tonette perm as a kid (wanted a Cindy Brady hairstyle). It's perfectly fine for children to have their own hair care, cosmetics, and beauty enhancers. Like, they used to have the Tinkerbell line of cosmetics and bath enhancers for kids. Nothing wrong with it.
Apr 3rd 2010 4:40PM When supermodel Iman married megatalented, superhandsome rock/pop star David Bowie (my idol), she got a Bowie knife with the name "David" tattooed on her ankle. So much for the theory that only lowlife women have "ink"
Nov 24th 2009 5:28AM Fat may not be healthy, but PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE regardless of size or body contour, and this was discrimination, and there was no excuse. This was some bulltoot.
Nov 6th 2009 5:03AM I think that these parents have to stop thinking that their little athletes are going to grow up to be the next Joe DiMaggio or something. Most kids who play youth sports grow up to be plain old "normal" adults with "normal" jobs and lives, and the main point of youth sports is for kids to have fun, get exercise, learn how to function in a group, and learn how to behave in society.
Sep 17th 2009 6:16AM I think this is charming. Sort of an adult version of a "Flat Daddy." Call it a "Flat Sweetheart" or a "Paper Partner."
This lady is SENDING PHOTOS of her and her boyfriend's image to her real flesh-and-blood sweetheart so he'll have something to set his heart aglow while he's on the other end of the earth trying to defend our nation without getting his @$$ blown up. And there's nothing sexual involved so come on, folks, let's think with something higher than our "lowers" here.
Cynthia, the point is that this is an image of SOMEBODY'S DEPLOYED PARTNER rather than a celebrity (though I wouldn't mind a cardboard cutout of David Bowie :-) )
I don't think there's anything sick or warped or unhealthy about what Anne is doing
