Sep 7th 2011 10:00AM But this was precisely the reason for hiding ideas. Personal safes in the room may not really be safe. It was mentioned in the article that lead me to this one that there is a default for some of these hotel room safes 0000 which will open them no matter what number had been programmed into it. Others could have another default number so who knows what that may be.
Sep 7th 2011 9:52AM I would be afraid to tape any valuables to the bottom of a table or top of a drawer, etc., thinking I might forget and leave them there when I checked out of the hotel. I always carry my money, passport and jewelry with me in my purse, also my camera. It's my laptop that I'm really concerned about. You can hardly take it along to dinner and/or dancing. I do like the idea of leaving it under the mattress way in the middle. I would never forget my laptop so it's something that I would hide rather than take a change of losing in a "unsafe" safe.
Jul 9th 2011 3:14PM And your point is? Can't you think of anything more intelligent to say than that?
Jun 24th 2011 11:27AM Could there be a more shallow p;erson on the face of the earth? Why are we even reading this? More importantly why am I even reading this? Sometimes I bow to my baser instincts because it's so hard for me to believe that there are real people like this in the world.
Jun 9th 2011 9:13AM When was the last time you actually saw Johnny Depp act? He seems to have turned himself into a cartoon of himself and hasn't in my opinion put out a decent film in years. Most of his recent rolls have been just plain silly, including the every-popular Pirates films. The Tourist was ridiculous. He's no longer on my list of favorite actors.
Jun 6th 2011 9:30AM Why didn't they wait til the captions were ready before putting up the photo spread and also the rest of the photos that apparently were to go in all the spots that said Image not available. How non-professional!
Feb 15th 2011 12:44PM I couldn't be happier to see Block Buster fade away. They were, at least here locally, the most obnoxious people to do business with. The sales people acted as if they were actually Hollywood stars themselves and their customers were dogdirt. I know corporate headquarters may not have intended this but that's the way they came across. And their late policy was really ridiculous. I took 3 films back 5 minutes last once (I'd gotten a phone call just as I was leaving to drop off the films) and they charged me $12 for a late charge! I could NOT believe they would do this. That's when I decided to check out an online rental place I'd been hearing about. Netflix. I tried them over 5 years ago and I'm still a member and think they are the best company I have ever dealt with ever! They are customer oriented as so very very few other companies are these days...unlike the impression I had gotten from Block Busters, so as I say I'm not upset about their current prediciment.
Dec 8th 2010 2:48AM Enough already! Didn't this happen so long ago that it doesn't even matter anymore? Who needs more venom in the world? So she found a way to get herself a lot of publicity...no one even heard of her before her tirade against Jolie. Cheap shot.
Dec 6th 2010 8:58AM A great song mouthed by a bunch of has-beens and losers. And yeah, I saw Glen Close in the mix...if she weren't a "has-been" she never would have done that silly series "Damage". What a piece of trash that show was.
Sep 6th 2010 9:22PM Of course it was a dream...even when I was a child I knew that. Why would anyone say the last 4 minutes killed it? That's really ridiculous. It made it all the more precious that acknowledgment of OZ as fantasy was established at the end and that Dorothy realize where she really wanted to be...back home in Kansas with Auntie Em et al.
