Mar 26th 2011 9:27PM Horrible is all I can utter...
Nov 15th 2010 2:50PM Well, let's see...She falls into love/whirlwind romances at the drop of a hat and seems to have the mental/emotional maturity of a fourteen year old, is sexual napalm according to her last main ex, and is worth 100 million at the moment. Of course he wants to marry her. But, does he have the character to insist on signing a prenup for her sake even if she protests out of her faith in their true love? And true love survives a lengthy engagement...
Nov 11th 2010 4:45PM She's a fabulous actress, a natural beauty, and has a wonderful singing voice. Loved her performance. Bravo Gwyneth!
Oct 8th 2010 4:38PM 3-D is extremely overrated and the best way to sink a potential blockbuster. Excellent decision Warner Bros.
Oct 8th 2010 1:56AM There's nothing more fragile and at times more pathetic than the male ego.
Aug 20th 2010 2:55PM After 30 years there, relieved to be out and living now where there is woods, ocean, flowers and greenery galore, medical professionals that for the most part care about their patients, and people in general are genuine and friendly. Did I move to a small town? Hardly.
Vegas had a unique personality up until the five thousand people a month influxes started back in the 80's and nineties. It is an empty shell if its former self now. Still a great tourist destination. Redrock National Conservation area, Mt. Charleston, Lake Mead; all great outdoor areas to enjoy away from Fremont Street or the Strip, as well as many golf courses.
Suicide capital? Completely understandable if you've lived there over a decade and aren't Mormon.
Jul 2nd 2010 3:50PM Saw last night. Excellent for a condensed adaptation of the book. Very happy Breaking Dawn will be broken into two films, so more details and full impact can be enjoyed without time constraint issues for length of film. Soundtrack much better than New Moon's, and happy to hear Bella's lullaby from Twilight in it.
Ready for more!!!
Jul 1st 2010 1:37PM I believe most women just appreciate thoughtfulness, consideration, loving words, and subtle affectionate gestures from the one they've chosen to love. Not 24/7, but not just on Valentine's Day or an anniversary or birthday either.
Often, during "the chase" of a woman, men express their interest and feelings more spontaneously and romantically than after a long term sustained relationship is established. So of course stories like the Twilight Saga spark adoring female fans of all ages. Who doesn't want powerful and enduring love in their life?
For the gentleman whose courteous gestures such as holding a door open for a woman go unnoticed or unappreciated, I can only say whenever anyone does so for me, I always smile and thank them. And for those guys who think macho and aloof works, maybe to some girls or women it's seen as an alluring challenge for a time, but it's just plain annoying to me and I imagine probably to millions of women, at least over the age of 25.
Oh... And my sister and I are going to have dinner out and see Eclipse tonight. We both look forward to the two hours and four minutes of entertaining stress-free escapism. Team Edward? Hell yes...
Jun 28th 2010 1:42PM Jack deserves better than this shallow, juvenile bullsh*t. The opportunity to do the right thing and demonstrate a modicum of respect and consideration for another human being was predictably missed here.
He's a unique and fabulous leading character actor, has lived his life not giving a damn what anyone thinks, and given us infinitely enduring onscreen entertainment, so he'll always remain an indelible inspiration and breath of fresh air as far as I'm concerned.
Jun 20th 2010 10:12PM Congratulations Graeme and the United Kingdom!!!
