Dec 3rd 2009 2:25PM I have used the microwave to melt lipstick. There is still a lot of lipstick in a tube when you have used it as far as you can. I use a toothpick to scrape into a tiny container then zap. Only takes a few seconds. I add a drop of oil, Crisco, lanolin, caster oil are a few possibilities. Then stir with a the toothpick. You can pour it back into a tube or put in a small container for lip and cheek rouge.
