Apr 25th 2010 12:05PM I think Uriah Faber is thinking too much instead of reacting through his training. His edge was reacting so fast that his opponent had no idea it was coming he was creative and trusted in that. He lost the edge in the Mike Brown fight....he reacted and got KO'ed now he has slowed down trying to think during his fight. He needs to go back to the instinktive Uriah Faber and do what he does best
Apr 25th 2010 11:46AM I would not say Faber is done...He needs to get his Mojo Back...He no longer perceives himself as invincible. I do believe he has lost the eye of the Tiger and needs to find it again..I would not give up on him yet.
Apr 25th 2010 11:25AM I agree Clearblusky....smile...although the rate of medical insurance $65k will not go far for treatment in the future
Apr 25th 2010 11:15AM To all of the MMA bashers...The only reason you are on this site is to get a rise out of other who appreciate the sport...If you feel the way you do the become a god parent and prevent your children from watching this sport. I would rather have two men in an arena fighting it out man to man or having a duel to the death than to see the slaughter of helpless men women and children on the streets from drive by shootings. At least there are no other people suffering the consiquences from the fight than the two people involved. Both persons have consented...unlike a drive by or gang stabbing. There is integrity and honor..even if you can not see it. Tou and I have no choice about violence ..it is inherent in mans nature always has been and alway will. I am a former Marine and the basher heve never seenthe true nature of man and have no clue about what they speak...So again I reiterate leave this site and go to one where things are roseie and wonderful all day long where no one gets upset and screams and hollars and life is beautyful...Just one mans opinion.
Apr 25th 2010 10:52AM Chan Sung Jung and Leonard Garcia...That is a fight were both fighters left every thing in the ring. I was impressed with how much punishment both men took from each other...both are known for heavy hands. I was also impressed with the ground game elements... take down, in and out of the triangle it was one hell of a fight to witness.
