Latest Crave-Worthy Lingerie & Shapewear

Sep 27th 2011 12:17PM I've been looking for something to hold in my lower abdomen esp on my right side. I had a hernia repair after having appendicitis many years ago. The muscle pooches out on one side.

Some items I have found elsewhere are just not enough to hold anything in the fabric is like those of pantyhose.

The "Shapewear" I've tried in the past is constricting and too hot for someone going thru menopause. I read where one of those above is not a constricting fabric but is it a breathable one?

What to Wear to a Wedding

Apr 1st 2011 12:30AM Ok I can see no all white or all black but what about an outfit that is both? I haven't been to a wedding since 1988. Now I've been invited to a wedding on April 2nd. I've got a pair of crop pants that are black & white floral design, a black sleeveless shirt & a creme colored pair of slingbacks. I wore it with a long neckless & small dangle earrings. I got lots of compliments last time I wore it. I haven't wore a dress in years. Not sure I even have one that fits.

Linen Beach Pants: Effortless Summer Chic

Jul 11th 2010 10:22AM A few weeks ago, I saw a women enter a buffet resturant wearing shorts and sports bra. I think a cover up would have been appropriate in a family place. Great that she works out and keeps in shape but put on a top at least.

As for the article above, I could see the crop pants but not the long to your feet pants.

Blind Dog Has Her Own Seeing-Eye Dog

Jun 12th 2010 12:27AM Just because a dog comes from a shelter doesn't always mean they are a mixed breed. Pure Breds are surrendered, abandoned & strays etc and end up in a rescue if they are lucky.

As for the article, I have a now 18 yro toy poodle, she came here at 12yro and was blind. We didn't know it at the time, but she was 10 days pregnant. She had 4 pups only 2 survived, due to our TLC of them for about 6mo. The young girl that had her said "she thought she was too old to get pregnant." Her mother wouldn't allow her in the house and was wanting to euthanize her because "no one would want a blind dog."
Another dog we have is now 15 yro & deaf last year or so, it takes light, sign language, & stomping on floor to communicate with him.

The story is a wonderful story & I too wish the world would take note and act in kind. I can wish can't I?

Down With Performance Reviews

Apr 30th 2010 4:37PM I forgot to mention the 40 plus in store jobs I applied for & never got in the 4 and half years I worked there. It was a running joke when a job was posted. It got where we knew who was going to get the job as soon as it went up. One position , mgmt went to that person and told her to apply for it because it was hers. She and the married mgr were seeing each other and it was suppose to be a secret.
