Apr 26th 2011 8:52AM ...Uh, the article was about the GIRLS, and I think the Obamas show a lot of class and sensibility by recycling their daughter's clothes. My parents weren't poor, but my mother saved my older brother's good clothes for me as well, in part to teach us not to be frivolous with money. Good for the Obamas, the most non-elitist First Family in quite a long time.
Apr 25th 2011 1:23PM Issues much, Bill?
Apr 23rd 2011 12:54PM Now she just needs a haircut. Just below the chin.
Apr 7th 2011 7:09PM Really? Did you ever meet her in order to come to that conclusion? I did, at a charity fundraiser. She's an amazing woman and a wonderful mom to her children. I've never seen anybody this glamorous work so hard to help raise money. Shame on you. I dont know you so I wont make any assumptions on what a bitter, horrible person you must be.
Apr 5th 2011 2:57PM You can disparage her all you like, but the fact remains that she easily looks 25 years younger than her age. It's HER MONEY--she can spend it on what makes her happy. She wants to look good, and she does. Very good in fact.
Apr 3rd 2011 2:24PM This actually sounds like it could be Prader-Willi syndrome--a genetic disorder that includes insatiable appetite and muscle atrophy. I hope not.
Mar 28th 2011 5:41PM I'm just dumbstruck at some of the preposterous stories here--and they are surely written by people who have never even set foot in Mexico, let alone Cancun. I've gone to Cancun every year for the past 6 years, and never had a problem. It's clean, safe and the people are extremely friendly. After having been there so many times, and even venturing out of the tourist area to the Centro, I am finding some of the "stories" here to be utterly ridiculous.
Mar 26th 2011 9:40PM Sorry, but this has already been done before, more than 15 years ago by a Swedish designer. Only the Swedish designer's was a lot better thought out than this. Does the author realize that once the counter top comes up, they are placing food on a filthy surface that was once the floor? It's ridiculous, poorly planned and by the looks of it, fraught with other hazards like getting stuck mid way, or losing a finger or toe. Stupid.
Mar 26th 2011 9:13PM ...I bet you find yourself saying that to women a lot. I don't think it's so demanding for a woman who is asked to live in another woman's previous house to have a fresh start, and to women, the kitchen is everything.
Mar 25th 2011 4:02PM Right. And Merle Haggard is a genius.
