Apr 26th 2011 3:20PM I don't agree with most of what you said because you come across angry, but I do agree with you that there are a lot of women Gen-Xers who do not know how to cook. But they can down load the latest apps and manupilate the latest techno equipment.

Aug 25th 2010 7:43AM I work for a company that does environmental remediation and have been doing it for 11 years. I'm in TN on a clean up, but have a home in CT that I spent 40-50 days in last year. We work 12 hour days, seven days a week most of the time. I'm a manager so my day starts earlier and ends later (13-14 hours a day). I work with a group of people that live in all parts of the country and come together to do this kind of work. We all miss birthdays, vacations and feel the Groundhog Day effect, but we still do it.
I'm sure there are a lot of other people that live a similar life style to mine. So I don't feel for any of the people who are sacrificing to clean up the spill (when it comes to their time away from home). I do want to say that what they are doing is important and necessary. If it was easy anyone could do it!
