Dec 9th 2010 1:02PM As a safe alternative, as far digestion goes when you're talking about kids, switch out the baby powder from recipe number one with baking soda/powder. Unless you ingest huge amounts, which would only offset the pH balance in your system, you have no need to worry. Not to mention - who would continue eating a mixture of salt and baking soda/powder after the first taste? Happy holidays!
