Jul 9th 2011 10:37PM She's just another disgusting pasty-faced druggie alcoholic - why does anyone pay any attention to her?
Mar 14th 2011 5:07PM I care not one whit about "sustainability" or any of the rest of this nonsense that's desgined to placate the greenies and the yuppies who are desperate to get noticed while they "save the world".
What matters is satisfying the customer's expectation for good food at a reasonable price, prepared and served consistently; that's where the focus should be, not on this other stuff the customer could care less about, which will just drive up fixed costs.
Jan 15th 2011 9:52AM Also works great on Holley carburetor fuel bowl and metering block gaskets - spray the new gaskets on both sides before installing them, and the next time you take it apart, the gaskets won't stick to the parts and you can re-use them.
Jul 10th 2010 7:46PM The whole state of California is nuts, and the further north you go, the worse it gets; the great Nanny state marches on, until other people's money runs out (and it already has). Why do you people keep electing all these liberal weirdos that celebrate each day by telling you what you can and can't do, eat, breathe, and drink? Until you vote them all out, you deserve what you get from them, and they'll just keep spending money they (you) don't have.
Feb 26th 2010 4:53PM Anyone with an I.Q. above that of a pine tree would know better than to spend a dime for one of these "seminars"; it's amazing how gullible and uninformed people can be, which makes millionaires out of these scammers. Anyone who has been "taken" by one of these scammers has no one to blame but themselves. P.T. Barnum was right.
Feb 16th 2010 12:01PM All that rationale about not respecting others who are obese is idle dreaming from people who have never been on an airplane. Have you ever been compressed for three hours by the obese person next to you who is twice normal size?
Get real - if a passenger is twice normal size and can't fit in a seat, they need to buy two seats so they don't crush the people seated next to them. Why people become obese isn't my problem - I'm not a psychotherapist, and I don't want to hear about it; when I pay full fare for an airline seat, I expect to sit in it and not be crushed like a grape for the duration of the flight.
Nov 2nd 2009 4:15PM Get serious - 11:35 PM was one thing, 10:00 PM is another. The good dramas written for people over 10 years old are on at 9:00 and 10:00, and I'm not going to give half of them up to watch Jay. This has to be the dumbest programming mistake in NBC's history; they don't have any decent dramas on at 9:00 or 10:00, but CBS and ABC do. Putting Jay on at 10:00 and expecting an audience is like taking a knife to a gunfight. Do NBC's "programming executives" have any brains at all? I think not.
Aug 1st 2008 6:15PM That's all we need - another left-wing bleeding-heart liberal Democrat Socialist, beholden to the unions and wild-eyed environmentalists, bent on redistribution of wealth by "taxing the rich" with his Robin-Hood economics. Wait 'til you find out that his "rich" is YOU. He's never even run a lemonade stand, has no legislative accomplishments, and he wants to be the leader of the free world? Puh-leeeze!
Dec 11th 2006 10:10AM Oh, Puhleeeeze - would anyone with even a shred of common sense really think that because a plain veggie sub is low in fat and calories that a fresh-baked delicious chocolate-chip cookie from the same store is also "good for you"? Sure, blame it on a "big corporation" - come on, get real! Nobody with half a brain should need a Master's in Nutrition to figure out that a wonderful cookie has more calories than a vegetable; is this really a surprise? Subway wouldn't bake cookies if people didn't buy them all day long - if you want something healthful with zero calories, zero fat, and zero taste, go to a health food store. Sheesh!
Nov 26th 2006 4:24PM It's not about Starbucks, or hot chocolate, or coffee, or McDonald's, or the stupid woman who stuck a fresh paper cup of hot coffee in her crotch; it's about bottom-feeding, scum-sucking, money-grubbing plaintiff attorneys after their 33% of the out-of-court settlement they figure they can get just by filing these frivolous, ridiculous lawsuits on behalf of plaintiffs that have no sense whatsoever of the concept of personal responsibility for their actions. Our legal system is bogged down with dockets dragged out for years, and outrageous legal costs and liability insurance premiums are passed on to consumers every day because of crap like this. Ever wonder why everything that happens must always be someone ELSE's fault? Some people are just plain stupid, and look to plaintiff attorneys to blame it on someone else so they don't have to face it.
