Dec 1st 2010 2:09PM I got a paper cut...can I sue the paper company??? lol
Both of these stories are ridiculous! I would definitely get my money back on the yearbook!
And for the WV incident...maybe the city should sue her son for jumping off the swing instead of swinging on it as it was meant to be used! :-)
Sep 16th 2010 12:10AM I'm glad Michael won when it came down to him and Jackie. Something about her would annoy me every time (not the singing) but like she was prepped way too much by her parents...it just seemed fake! I would definitely buy Michael Grimm's album!
However, I think Fighting Gravity should have won it all. Even though they had a little glitch...that was a pretty good performance considering they had only a couple of days to come up with the idea then implement it!

I agree with you. The place that this issue took place in was a dump. There was no expectation of "fine dining." And why should parents "have" to go to McD's or Chuck E Cheese (which can get expensive) anytime they want to have a meal out. That's healthy?? Parents have a right to go out (with children) wherever they like! Yes, parents should be aware of the situation and try to rectify it. However, no one can expect a child to be perfect ALL the time. And I'm sure if a parent tried to spank the child, they would be writing about how bad the parents were then, too. There is no pleasing some people!
What if they child got hurt and was crying? Or if the child has disabilities? If you don't know the situation...don't judge! And if you want to eat in silence...eat at home! There have been many times where adults were too loud, drinking, on phones, etc. where they have been louder than any crying child. I highly doubt anyone would say anything to them. So people need to just get off their self-made pedestal and mind their own business.
Jul 23rd 2010 9:40AM Well, the odds of THIS person who studied all the items/prices being picked from the audience, then him winning the bid to play the game, then winning the chance at the wheel to be in the showcase showdown...they are tremendous. So he deserves to have won both (if this wasn't a fix to bring attention to the show).
Jul 22nd 2010 12:28PM I *LOVE* Cat Deely! I love how friendly she is. I love how down to earth she is for being someone who is so beautiful. I mean, who else would take the fake teeth out of Twitch and put them in her mouth? Many celebs would not do that because of their "image" or how they would be perceived.
I never thought I would say this, but I miss Mary Murphy! I can mute during the screams. But I think Mia just finds things to say to be mean. And I think she just outright does not like Adechike (sp?). But she just annoys me how she thinks she is superior to everyone else. I'm not saying she doesn't have the credentials, but I think she is deliberately being mean. But I can mute through her, too. :-)

Thanks for the tips! I never thought to check the ingredients of olive oil. The one I have (Member's Mark, aka Sam's Club) says:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Product contains select high quality extra virgin olive oil from Italy, Greece, Spain, and Tunisia. Bottle and packed in Italy.
So it seems as if this one is ok?
Jul 8th 2010 11:36AM What is VERY scary about this is how it refers to how some of the olive oils are mixed with other oils. My son has food allergies and we can only use certain oils, that do not contain soy or peanut. And according to the other version of this article (http://mobile.latimes.com/inf/infomo?view=Business+Items&feed:a=latimes_1min&feed:c=businessnews&feed:i=54792219&nopaging=1), some are mixed with peanut oils.
I wonder how many people have had anaphylactic shock because of this mixture, but did not trace the origin of the attack back to the oil.
Jul 8th 2010 11:32AM Yeah, very interesting. The LA Times one is dated 7/6.
Jun 2nd 2010 10:19PM Ok, that is sad. More sad, you made me laugh!
