May 21st 2011 11:40AM When your daughter's only talent is laying on her back, I don't think you get to make statements about other people's sexual escapades.
Mar 29th 2011 10:01AM Our daughters were allowed to do all kinds of activities like bowling, going to movies, paint ball, etc., with groups of friends that included both boys and girls but always with adult (parent) chaperones. I think it's important for young people to learn how to interact appropriately with the opposite sex and learn to see them as people who deserve their respect. "Dating" didn't really happen until the last year or two of high school and first couple of years of college, and it was for occasions like the big school dances, not just "hanging out". All of our daughters are going or have gone to college to prepare for their futures and get their degrees. They know their education is number one and they have an idea of where they want to go in the future. I think that's one of the most important things to inspire in your child, a vision of themselves in the future and a plan to get there. That doesn't include having indiscriminate sex at 12, obviously.
Mar 11th 2011 10:02AM A designer's future depends on how they present their collections during Fashion Week. The "star" is meant to be the collection and anyone who takes away from that shouldn't be allowed to attend. Months of preparation can't be set aside for a self-involved celebrity.
Jan 10th 2011 10:35AM It makes me wonder if he actually sits around thinking of ways to be a bigger idiot than he already is. Sheesh.
Dec 5th 2010 1:57PM My two favorite Christmas commercials are the one with Art Carny as the grandfather taking his grandson to Rockefeller Plaza to plant the magic pine cone from which the giant, lighted tree grows and the commercial where the little boy asks the Marine if he's really Santa and the Marine opens his hand so the boy can give him his Christmas list.
Nov 17th 2010 2:00PM I think the Doctor you grew up with is always your favorite Doctor, so I have to say Tom Baker. I particularly love the shows that featured the writing of Douglas Adams; what a combination! (DVD)
Nov 16th 2010 11:25AM Oh, look. Another religion made up by men. LOL. I wonder what will happen when all the women refuse to follow their edicts.
Nov 15th 2010 2:01PM Craig Ferguson hands down!
Nov 3rd 2010 3:21PM I'm confused. I thought being an unwed teenage mother was Bristol's talent.
Sep 13th 2010 11:19AM My favorite of his performances was "The Seagull". I just utterly fell in love with him. He will be missed.
