Aug 25th 2008 3:05PM Ugh, I get so tired of all the fruity, spicy beers. The pumpkin one (I think by Sam Adams) is not good at all. Yet people buy it in heaps! Just brew a good rich beer, folks. :)
Aug 25th 2008 3:03PM That's absolutely true. We need fat for vital bodily functions and good mental health. It's a shame that we have a fat phobia in this society. Glad you used a picture of avocados - they're one of the best sources of healthy fat. Plus they're higher in fiber than wheat bread! (Yeah, amazing! I blogged about it here: http://www.ecosalon.com/title/Want_Fiber_Forget_Toast)
Aug 25th 2008 2:58PM Just give me one that's green and I'm sold! :)
Aug 25th 2008 2:55PM I'm bummed, but it's not very nice for us readers to be so angry at the bloggers. It's not in their hands and while a blog is a "free publication" it doesn't mean we have the right to be nasty. The sense of entitlement online is sad. www.ecosalon.com
Nov 23rd 2007 12:51PM Thanks for the link love! :) Great idea on the chickpeas, Monica.

Jul 31st 2007 1:42PM Elise, I am with you. It's ignorant and shameful and embarrassing. The Lancet had a good editorial about this (http://www.healthbolt.net/2007/07/26/sex-commute-obesity-bunnies/)
Jul 28th 2007 12:58PM Bethany, here's a terrific post about several natural scrubs and moisturizers and stress relief treatments you can make at home using simple, inexpensive things like salt. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/almond-oil/
