Jul 4th 2011 5:23PM If the ants are in an enclosed area like in drawers or kitchen cupboards etc., try sprinking some whole cloves (like the ones you stick in your ham before baking) around. They don't like the smell and the next day the ants will be gone.
Mar 27th 2011 2:47AM I'm stocking up now on incadescent bulbs. Beginning in 2012 a stupid law goes into effect banning the sale of those bulbs starting with the 100 watt bulbs folloed later by the lesser wattage bulbs.
Mar 2nd 2011 6:49PM What I'd love to see is VW come out with a new, affordable, modern version of basically their 1977 pop-top camper. I really enjoyed mine. To make it affordable make a simple version with A/C, the convertable beds, a removable ice chest, removable 2 -burner propane stove, storage units like before, a built in heater (for camping). Then offer optional upgrades such as refrigerator, sink, built in water tank etc. for people willing to pay xtra (not me) for that stuff.
Feb 28th 2011 1:24PM the Oscars are boring - no entertainment at all. I never watch anymore. Contrast the Oscars with awards shows like the Grammys that has tons of good entertainment which I enjoy watching.
Feb 5th 2011 12:37PM Iwish he would give to property to the state of New Mexico for the purpose of adding the property to their state park system so people of ordinary means could enjoy the place. The setting looks spectacular.
Jan 28th 2011 1:18PM Whatever it is, I love it! Yummy!
Jan 10th 2011 1:16PM So macho little man Cruise is afraid of a confrontation with Anne Hathaway. He and Katie can't even take a joke. Lol.
Aug 16th 2010 11:35AM I disagree with the ruling. It wasn't at all clear that his ball was in a sand bunker. Yes, you could see that the was a bunker very near to where his ball was, but no clear edge line of the bunker that included his ball. If you drew an imiginary line connecting the clearly visible edge parts of the bunker, his ball lie was outside of that line. Perhaps the local rule should have been to just consider the whole golf course a sand bunker and to never ground your club on any part of that very sandy course. He got screwed.
Aug 14th 2010 4:42PM I like Breyer's too. Dreyer's (Eddy's) light, double churned, vanilla bean is also one of my favorites.
May 9th 2010 9:48PM Student loans such as FAFSA are gov't loans. The debt is real and never goes away. It can't even be discharged through bankruptcy unlike many other types of loans. if people default on student loans, the gov't will garnish wages, seize income tax refunds, deny gov't employment, etc. BTW, the schools don't care, because they got their money. Shades of the real estate/mortgage bubble and financial disater. Be careful in taking on too much student debt.
