Land, Sea, and Air is the symbolism behind what is known as innovation, luxury, and future. Mercedes-Benz began with 3 men who envisioned a horseless carriage. The names; Daimler, Benz, and Maybach. Today that horseless carriage value is on the rise, such as the E-Class, SLK, and SL models. With eManualOnline Mercedes Service Manual you have an entire webpage with 73 different manuals and still adding that will guide in you in the correct direction!

Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach spent night after night conversing of the possibilities of creating the first lightweight gas powered engine. In 1882 the obsession became a reality, Daimler and Maybach came up with the first 4 stroke gas powered “Grandfather Clock Engine” A name that aligned with the design. Which was then placed on a lightweight vehicle named the Reitwagen, best known as the world's first motorcycle. With huge success, in 1886 Daimler and Maybach placed their engine on various vehicles such as boats, carriages, and Daimler balloons. Success immediately spread the DMG name.

That same year Karl Benz patented his Motorwagen. It was the first automobile entirely designed by Karl Benz. Earning the German patent number 37435 named ""automobile fueled by gas"". Placing Karl Benz as an inventor. In 1888 the compelling Motorwagen was a commercial success setting history as the first sold automobile.

However even though success reigned on both DMG and Benz, nothing would save them from the economic German turmoil post World War 1. With poor sales Benz approached DMG with the proposition of a merger. In 1926 it was settled. The 2 greats would become one, fusing Daimlers 3 pointed star enclosed with Benz Laurel making Daimler-Benz. As a result increase of sales followed.

Today Mercedes-Benz unique symbol emits various emotions. From trust, wealth, luxury; Mercedes Benz will always be the first, with its innovative designs such as the concept Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet to its highpower 221 mph Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Kleemann.

All of this was because of one phrase Gottlieb Daimler carried with him throughout his success “It’s not the idea, it’s the implementation that counts.” If understanding the secret sauce to your Mercedes-Benz intrigues you but happen to feel the famed “Cant”. Ignore it, and make the implementation count and trust us, fear is only part of the journey. Head over to eManualOnline and seize your Mercedes Repair Manual.
