Collage (/ kəˈlɑːʒ /, from the French: coller, "to glue" or "to stick together"; [ 1 ]) is a technique of art creation, primarily used in the visual arts, but in music too, by which art results from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. (Compare with pastiche, which is a "pasting" together.)
The art critic Jonathan Jones, writing in The Guardian in 2013, described Photo Op as "the definitive work of art about the war". [2] Jones felt that "Ten years on from that war's beginning, this manic digital collage states succinctly what a large number people feel and believe about Blair's responsibility for the chaos that ensued.
