I'd say it's been a lot better than expected. Others are right though, Corona turned a lot of things upside down, and Printify was one of basically countless businesses affected. To clarify: - the main issues lately have been with production delays, but Printify has tried to update their customers with delay updates. delays have improved ...
Last year I sold about $100k on Etsy. It was very very slow the first 3 months and finally started to take off around Mother’s Day and I sold $35k in November alone. I netted about $28k for the year after Printify expenses and Etsy expenses. It’s not a get rich quick scheme.
So Etsy fees are this: $0.20 when you create the listing, this lists the item for 4 months. If the item sells you need to renew the listing, so another $0.20 per item. Once I removed Printify all the products stopped being sold out, but as soon as I changed them back to printify they all went back to sold out. Another interesting thing is the few items that were not sold out went to sold out as soon as printify was removed from stocked at and came back in stock when printify was added back.
To simplify this, I usually just do 90% of MSRP is about what you make after etsy fees. So the profit would be (MSRP*.9) - Printify Cost- printify shipping . These are itemized when a costumer places the order. If I were you I would download the latest price list from Printify and make a spreadsheet to calculate profit and get to a better MSRP.
It's also not possible to take any actions on any of the products as all buttons are disabled on products that are publishing. Thanks for taking the time to read! Update: I reached out to Printify via their on site chat as suggested by u/International-Clue48 (thanks!). They cleared the situation up for me in about 5 minutes.
