St. Thomas' Secondary School ( Malay: Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan St. Thomas) is an all-boys secondary day school (girls admitted in Form 6) situated in Kuching, the capital of the Malaysian state of Sarawak. It is the oldest school in Sarawak, though the school was originally at St Mary's location [clarification needed] back in 1848.
History. SMK Bandar Tun Hussein Onn was established in December 2003 and began its first session on January 1, 2004. Its first principal was Datin Azmah Abd Aziz, who retired in December 2007. The school consists of four 3-storey building blocks. The school has double sessions; the morning sessions starts from 7.20 am and ends at 1.05 pm.
Due to infrastructure problems and lack of buildings, the students attended classes at two temporary schools, Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Taman Universiti 2 and Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Taman Sri Pulai, SK Taman Universiti 1, and SMK Taman Universiti 3 with 644 and 349 students respectively. The first principal was En. Ahmad bin Atil.
