Jamaica Observer is a daily newspaper published in Kingston, Jamaica. The publication was owned by Butch Stewart (now deceased), who chartered the paper in January 1993 as a competitor to Jamaica's oldest daily paper, The Gleaner.

Adam Stewart (born January 27, 1981) is a Jamaican businessman. He is the executive chairman of the Caribbean-based resort company Sandals Resorts (SRI) and Beaches Resorts, president of the Sandals Foundation, and executive chairman of the ATL Group, a Jamaica-based automotive, commercial, and domestic appliance distributor.
