Big Ten Coach of the Year (2019) Ryan Day (born March 12, 1979) is an American football coach and former college football player. He is the 24th and current head football coach at Ohio State University, a position he has held since 2019. Day was also the acting head coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes for the first three games of the 2018 season.
Since the team's creation in 1885, the Spartans have participated in more than 1,200 officially sanctioned games, including 30 bowl games.
