Delta rolled out a profit-sharing model in 2007 and it gave employees a financial cushion when company money was tight. It’s a benefit they’ve continued since a brief pause in 2020.
The pre-merger Northwest fleet is saved on the Northwest Airlines article. Delta will be taking delivery on it's first aircraft since the merger. And, as with the 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, and 2000 fleets, one for 2010 can be added with a note that it is the pre-merger Delta fleet. Eventually, these to fleets will have to combine.
