ΔΣΠ ( Delta Sigma Pi) is a co-ed professional business Fraternity in the United States of America. It was founded on November 7, 1907, at the School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance, New York University, New York, New York and is currently headquartered in Oxford, Ohio. The Fraternity currently has 48 active alumni chapters.
The college's student-run newspaper is the Delta Collegiate and has been published since the college opened in 1961. The newspaper prints a new issue every two weeks during the fall and winter semester. It was the first fraternity to be founded based on religious and ethnic acceptance. It is also one of three fraternities founded at CCNY (now a part of the City University of New York (CUNY)).
Undergraduate chapter statistics. Since 1899, Delta Sigma Phi has issued 238 charters in 41 states ( United States of America ), Washington, D.C., and 3 provinces in Canada. Currently, the Fraternity has active chapters and new chapters in 32 states and Washington, D.C. All three former chapters in Canada are dormant.
Delta Kappa Epsilon (ΔΚΕ), commonly known as DKE or Deke, is one of the oldest fraternities in the United States, with fifty-six active chapters and five active colonies across North America. It was founded at Yale College in 1844 by fifteen sophomores who were discontented with the existing fraternity order on campus.
